Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word (ancient language of India) which literally translates as knowledge of life.  It can be interpreted as a priceless wisdom

Please note: following current Covid-19 guidelines, I will not be offering treatments at this time

It is often suggested that Ayurveda originated more than 4000 years ago, and is an old Indian health system which treats the whole person working holistically, combining nutrition, herbal remedies, yoga and massage.  It is believed to be the oldest health system known to man today.  Rather than treating symptoms, it treats the whole person, working holistically, combining nutrition, herbal remedies and massage.

Ayurvedic massage is an important part of Ayurvedic therapy.  The massage works on mama points, opening up “energy channels” that are believed to cause inbalance or blockage. Ayurvedic Oils according to your Dosha type will be used in treatments.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage - The aim of is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis. Clients report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing, leaving them feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate.

Indian head massage helps increase joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders, improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow, frees knots of muscular tension, relaxes connective tissue, and aids in the elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products. It is particularly good for reducing the effects of stress and tension.

Facial Revitalisation

Facial Revitalisation is an Ayurvedic natural facelift massage with healing. A gentle, effective way to nourish your skin and bring about a more youthful glow.  Our face is open to the elements, and also toxins from the environment, by having a regular facial treatment this will help eliminate this build up.
This is a beautifully relaxing treatment and includes a massage to lower leg and feet as well as a scalp massage.

Personally I believe one of the most incredible treatments I offer.
